In order to master and drive our continued growth, we are looking for a Bid/Presales Manager (m/f/d) for our Presales Team at one of our locations in Germany (preferably Frankfurt or Munich). You are passionate about IT solutions and are used to leading and culturally shaping a team of presales specialists. You also have a strong sense of quality, are proficient in standardised project implementation procedures and are a team player through and through. Customers perceive you as an equal dialogue partner and you lead contract negotiations to success in a pragmatic way.

You will work with us on multi-layered tenders and offers in the focus areas of the public sector and German SMEs. With your expertise and a clear focus on the respective projects, you will conceptualise the offers and architecture with your team, convince the customers of our solutions together with the sales department and participate in the handover to implementation. We have exciting tasks for you

  • You coordinate the entire bidding process, from the decision to submit a bid to the closing of the deal
  • You are responsible for the management of the dedicated presales team
  • You are responsible for analysing the prerequisites, chances of success and profitability of the bid preparation and process
  • Coordination with sales, project management, management level, lawyers and external partners such as IT planning offices, suppliers and producers is also part of your tasks.
  • You communicate and present final offers to our customers
  • You are responsible for the quality assurance of the proposal in terms of form, content, adherence to formalities and timely submission.
  • The implementation of review meetings is also part of your new task
  • You will be responsible for implementing change requests, continuous optimisation and setting standards.

What you bring with you

  • You have a degree in economics or technical studies or comparable training
  • You have relevant professional experience in a similar function
  • You are familiar with agile project management methods
  • Collaboration with IT planning offices is nothing new to you and an important component of your work
  • A commercial understanding, good analytical skills and enthusiasm for innovative technologies are part of your professional DNA
  • You see yourself as a generalist and are able to convince interested parties as well as colleagues with your technical as well as sales strength
  • Your strong communication skills and sociability are the basis for building long-term customer relationships and creating a positive team atmosphere
  • You are characterised by courage, the desire to try out new ideas and a high level of decision-making competence.
  • A good command of written and spoken German and English is part of your profile.
  • You have a certain willingness to travel
