What we need you for and what you can expect from us

As Senior Account Manager – Public Sector (m/f/d) at one of our nationwide locations in Berlin, Cologne, Stuttgart, Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt or Leipzig, you will be the convincing representative of the company and focus on establishing and expanding long-term business relationships with public sector clients. Due to your several years of experience in sales, you have mastered your craft and demonstrate competence and enthusiasm in various situations. Due to your appearance and your obliging manner, you have a well-founded network and a good network with public authorities.

We have exciting tasks for you

  • Establishing and strategically expanding partnership-based customer relationships at various levels in the Public Sector segment
  • Expansion and further development of our nationwide locations as well as strengthening sales channels in the regions
  • Cultivation of manufacturer contacts
  • Supporting new and existing customers in the public sector
  • Positioning and presentation of our entire product and solution portfolio
  • Elaboration and negotiation of offers/framework agreements
  • You take responsibility for the entire sales process

What you bring with you

  • Completed business studies or comparable training
  • Strong experience in IT sales and in the area of public procurement and tendering processes
  • Ideally, you already have experience with committees and/or are actively involved in associations
  • Cisco knowledge desirable, alternatively experience in the software/hardware sector or in the telecommunications market
  • Skill in negotiating IT framework agreements and knowledge of public procurement law
  • Hands-on and can-do mentality
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
