With its membership of the Cyber-Sicherheitsrat Deutschland e.V., avodaq is not only positioning itself as a strong partner in the field of cyber security, but is also actively contributing to the design of secure digital solutions – particularly in the healthcare sector and beyond.
What is the Cyber-Sicherheitsrat?
The politically neutral organisation Cyber-Sicherheitsrat Deutschland e.V. was founded in 2012 and is based in Berlin. Its objectives include advising companies, authorities and political decision-makers in the field of cyber security and strengthening the fight against cybercrime. The association’s members include large and medium-sized companies, operators of critical infrastructures, authorities, municipalities, experts and political decision-makers with a connection to cyber security.
Our commitment
A central element of the Security Council’s work is cyber security in the healthcare sector. avodaq is contributing its expertise in this area in particular: Under the leadership of Jan Arfwedson, Director Sales Healthcare & Security at avodaq, the eHealth Hub provides impetus for greater cybersecurity in the healthcare sector by addressing key challenges such as hospital security, digital health applications and regulatory requirements such as NIS2. Three hub meetings are already planned for 2025, at which solutions for current challenges will be developed together with politicians, industry and stakeholders.
„Cybersecurity requires cooperation based on trust across all levels of politics, business and society. A regular exchange of experience and the establishment of networks are essential. At the Cyber Security Council, we work together with politicians, stakeholders and security experts to develop strategies, offer practical support and pool our expertise in order to effectively counter the growing cyber threats.“
