Consultant (m/f/d) Security Advisory

We are looking for you as a Consultant (m/f/d) Security Advisory for one of our locations in Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Leipzig or Stuttgart as soon as possible. You will be responsible for strategic customer consulting in the field of IT security, taking into account best practice frameworks and industry-specific regulations. You will also be responsible for the creation of cybersecurity strategies, support as CISO and ISB ondemand. Thanks to your in-depth understanding of industry trends and technological developments, you will make a significant contribution to the successful further development of our portfolio in the area of security.

What you can expect from us

• You actively work on the further development of our IT security consulting services
• You are involved in auditing the information security environment of customers and create audit reports suitable for management
• Part of your job is to develop IT security strategies
• Support the continuous development of our customers’ information security
• You create customer presentations and support our sales department at pre-sales appointments
• You represent the cyber consulting service within avodaq
• Recognising and integrating new trends and regulations into the avodaq consulting portfolio

What sets you apart

• You have at least 3 years of extensive experience in the areas of IT security consulting, implementation of IT security concepts and strategic business consulting with a good understanding of technologies in various areas of IT security
• You are familiar with common best practice frameworks, such as BSI-Grundschutz, NIST, ISO27001, B3S, which are required for the implementation of effective information security systems
• Knowledge of information security management systems (ISMS) and IT risk analyses is an advantage
• You are able to write concepts and technical documents in a generally understandable way
• You understand business processes and requirements and are able to translate these into IT specifications
• You are experienced in dealing with customers and users and have a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving
• Fluency in German and English round off your profile
