We are looking for you as a full-time or part-time IT Service Security Analyst (m/f/d) for one of our locations in Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Leipzig or Stuttgart as soon as possible. As an active member of our security team, you will be the contact person for customers. In your new position, you will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and responding to security events and incidents. You will work closely with our security specialists and contribute to improving our customers’ security infrastructure, policies and procedures.

What you can expect from us

  • Your central topic is the detection of possible security-relevant events, vulnerabilities and cyber threats to IT systems (SOC), as well as the analytical and case-related processing of recommendations for action and the consultation and implementation for the elimination of security gaps
  • Your tasks also include the continuous further development of the avodaq IDR service and the toolset
  • You will also advise customers on incidents, risk remediation and security changes. You will create use cases to detect current cyber threats, find countermeasures and implement them with customers
  • In addition to day-to-day business, your tasks will include dialogue, professional development, the field of AI/AI in cybersecurity and the introduction and evaluation of new tools and infrastructures
  • You will expand your knowledge on a daily basis, develop creative solutions and take responsibility for compliance with SLAs and customer documentation

What sets you apart

  • You have successfully completed your studies or training in the IT environment and have approx. 3-5 years of practical work experience
  • Ideally, you have already gained experience working within a Security Operation Centre (SOC)
  • You also have experience in analysing, operating and troubleshooting security environments (Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, PaloAlto)
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the Cisco Systems security portfolio (XDR / Secure Endpoint / Network Analytics / Orbital / Cloud Analytics etc.)
  • Certifications from the manufacturer Cisco (CCNA, CCNP Security, Cyber Ops Associate, Cyber Ops Professional) and/or certifications in the area of security operations (e.g. CompTia) are desirable
  • Very good German and English skills round off your profile
