Hello Nina, please introduce yourself briefly.
I’m Nina, 33 years old, and I’ve been working as an Account Manager in Inside Sales at avodaq since August 2022. I mainly look after customers from the area of Berlin and northern Germany.
What do you value most about your work in Inside Sales?
I particularly appreciate the teamwork, even across the departments. Everyone has an open ear and is willing to help. After more than a year, I definitely don’t have a routine yet and there are always challenging tasks. I like that!
I particularly remember our three-day team event in Frankfurt, where all team members from all locations came together. It was great to get to know everyone personally and to network.
How would you describe your job in three key words?
Responsible, challenging and an ideal mix of office work and customer contact.
In your opinion, what qualities should an Inside Sales Account Manager have?
Diligence and reliability are very important. And you should enjoy working in a team. We coordinate a lot with each other and exchange ideas. In any case, you should also have the willingness to learn about the products and understand them. We have to be very knowledgeable in order to be able to prepare quotations for our customers. You also need to be an open and empathetic person.
„I chose avodaq because I really appreciate the open and honest culture.“
Nina
What excites you most about avodaq?
chose avodaq because I really appreciate the open and honest culture. If I have concerns, I can always raise them and know that I am being heard and will get something back. As well as the spirit of working together to achieve a lot, we also have a lot of freedom to achieve a good work-life balance.
Would you like to share a fun fact about yourself with us?
I am a part-time veterinary practitioner & physiotherapist for dogs with my own business. In my opinion, the fact that I am able to pursue this personal passion project alongside my main job says a lot about avodaq as an employer. I started here with 40 working hours a week and have since reduced this by a few hours so that I can work both jobs at the same time. That was possible without any problems and I’m very grateful for that.
Nina, thank you for the insight into your day-to-day work. It sounds like an exciting mix!
