(Senior) IT Consultant (m/f/d) – Security

Why we need you

As a growing IT service provider, we are looking for you to join one of our offices in Hamburgor Munich assoon as possible asan IT Consultant (m/f/d) for our Security Team. Whether it’s installation, configuration, testing or commissioning – you know all the processes inside out, making you the ideal addition to our team when it comes to implementing sophisticated security solutions at our clients’ premises. You’ll also develop security concepts and architectures that provide our clients with the highest level of security.

Here’s what you can expect from us

• For our clients, you will be the first point of contact for expert advice on suitable security solutions (including network security and data centre security) 
• You will be responsible for analysing customers’ needs and requirements and developing bespoke solution concepts
• This involves the design, implementation and maintenance of security infrastructures 
• You will also lead projects of up to medium complexity and implement them independently
• In addition to providing technical support to the sales team during the pre-sales phase and specialist support, your role also includes troubleshooting in a technically demanding environment

What sets you apart

• You have successfully completed a degree or vocational training programme in the IT sector and have at least 4 years’ relevant professional experience in the field of IT security 
• You also have in-depth knowledge and practical experience of solutions from at least two of the following vendors: Cisco Systems, Fortinet, Check Point, F5 Networks, CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Zscaler and Palo Alto 
• Ideally, you hold a CCNP Security or Fortinet Certified Professional qualification
• Furthermore, you are flexible, willing to travel (approx. 20 per cent) and able to work independently
• You hold a Class B driving licence
• Fluency in German (at least C1 level) and a good command of English (at least B2 level) round off your profile
