Management Track
On our main stage, avodaq’s Executive Board Members Andreas Kusch (CEO) and Marc Schmidt (COO) warmly welcomed the guests. In their welcome address, they emphasized the thesis that IT must be recognized as an opportunity to counteract the shortage of skilled professionals. The program continued with a presentation by Jens Werschmöller (iteratec) and Sebastian Bonk (avodaq), who examined the customer perspective by posing the question: “Which challenges must I be prepared for today, tomorrow, and the day after?” This was directly followed by Stefan Gutekunst (Cisco) and Jan Arfwedson (avodaq), who underlined that security should not be regarded in isolation, but rather as an integrated, interconnected, and indispensable element of every corporate process and strategy. The central question of how AI can be successfully applied in practice, along with the challenges this entails, was addressed in a high-level panel discussion featuring Roland Sakel (Head of Processes and IT, Lehmann&Voss&Co. KG), Lars Gummels (CIO, Port of Kiel GmbH & Co. KG), Jakob Mertes (Machine Learning Engineer, Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg), and Jannik Pokar (GenAI Business Development Lead, Adesso SE), moderated by Merle Rüter (avodaq). For the closing keynote, Jan Wendt, CEO of Plaier, provided exclusive insights into the AI-driven transformation of the transfer market in professional football.
